Ackees - the national fruit of Jamaica. Ackkes are cooked with rice, in quiches and most commonly Ackee and Saltfish Jamaicas National Dish.

The Ackee is the fruit of the ackee tree. Once the fruit is ripe it splits exposing black seeds attached to the yellow edible part of ackees.
