Al'fez Authentic Spicy Lemon Tagine Paste
100g by Al'Fez. Al'Fez pastes for North African, Middle East, Moroccan and Lebanese foods. This is a complex concentrated paste of spices, with a rich & zesty flavour.
Serving Suggestion Add 1-2 teaspoons of paste to chicken or vegetable stock to make a tagine sauce; then serve casserole style with meat or vegetables over a bed of couscous. Alternatively, stir fry chicken or vegetables in some oil. Add 1-2 teaspoons of paste. Stir through till cooked; then serve with couscous, in wraps or pitta pockets.
Ingredients Water, tomato purée (12%), rapeseed oil, salt, sugar, coriander, mustard, chilli powder, paprika, cinnamon, garlic, pimientoes, caraway seeds, acidity regulator (citric acid, acetic acid), mint flavourings, chillies, lemon extract, tumeric extract, cumin, stabiliser (xanthan gum).
Recipe: Spiced Lemon & Honey Chicken Thighs:

Ingredients:
4 x chicken thighs
1 x jar Al’Fez Lemon Tagine
70g x clear honey
Method
Mix honey and Lemon Tagine paste, coat thighs. Put in the oven temp 190 degrees (fan assisted) for 30 minutes until the skin is slightly charred. Drizzle with Lemon juice and garnish with a slice of lemon.
Serving Suggestion: Serve with Rice, Couscous and mixed bean salad.
