Excelsior Water Crackers are popular for breakfast or as a snack in Jamaica and the rest of the Caribbean, and are valued as a taste of home among the Caribbean community here in the UK. Excelsior Water crackers are fat free: they are thin, hard and brittle, produced by baking flour and water with no shortening or other fats. People enjoy them with a tasty spread, washed down with a cup of tea. They are also great as crackers with cheese and a glass of wine.

Can be used as a cereal for which the directions are: merely soak in warm water for 5/6 mins and allow to drain. Butter may be added if desired.

Ingredients: wheat flour, salt, raising agents [sodium bicarbonate, yeast]
