Butter Chicken Recipe:
3 tsp ferns butter chicken paste
500g boneless chicken pieces
1 red pepper
125g chilled butter
250g tin of chopped tomatoes
half tsp of paprika
40g single cream
200ml chicken stock
Method: marinate the butter in the ferns butter chicken paste for at least 2 hours [overnight is preferred]. Heat a little oil in a saucepan and panfry the chicken for 5 mins, turning so the whole chicken is browned. Place the chicken in an oven proof dish and add chopped tomatoes, red pepper, paprika, chicken stock and place in the oven for 35 mins. When cooked remove the chicken from the sauce. With the remaining sauce add the butter and cream and stir off the heat, Pour the sauce over the chicken and serve.
