Hummus

Hummus is a dip made of chickpea paste and tahini (sesame seed paste), which can be flavoured with olive oil, garlic, paprika, and lemon juice. Especially good for dipping with pitta bread and crudities. Cypressa’s tinned hummus makes a healthy snack, starter or side dish.

Hummus is traditionally scooped up with flatbread, but is increasingly popular as a dip for tortilla chips in non-Middle Eastern countries. Popular throughout the Middle East.

Ingredients: Chick peas, Sesame Seeds (crushed), Sunflower oil, Salt, Citric Acid, Spices, Vinegar.
