Japanese Somen Noodles

Somen are very thin, white noodles traditionally from the Nara Mira area of Japan. Easy to cook these are a popular japanese noodle. Often served cold they are taken ice cold in the summer to cool down! Made from Wheat flour.
To prepare: add slowly to a large deep pan of boiling water, return to the boil and simmer for approx 2 mins. Noodles should be cooked through to the centre but still quite firm. Drain and serve immediately.
