Honey Beans

Nigerian honey beans are used extensively in Afro Caribbean cooking and are also known as 'Cowpeas Light' or 'Oloyin'.

They are celebrated for their uniquely sweet taste and great texture. Use in soups, stews, curries, salads and as a substitute to your normal beans. Try using them in the traditional African dish 'Moyin Moyin'.

Cooking Instructions:

• Place the beans in a pot with plenty of fresh water.
• Boil rapidly for 45mins or until the beans are tender.
• If necessary add more boiling water to the simmering beans to keep them covered.
