Shan Dal Curry [mix for mild lentil curry]
Recipe: Dal curry - Ingredients required: mung dal 175g, masoor dal 3 tbsp, onion 125g, garlic 10cloves, tomato 50g, green chilli 6-8, soya leaves 1 tsp, curry leaves 10 leaves, ghee/oil 85g, shan dal one packet.
Method: 1] in half the ghee fry onions for few mins, stir in shan dal and garlic, 2] add dals, tomato, soya leaves, green chillies, 6 cup water. Boil on low heat until dal tender and smooth. 3] heat remaing ghee, add curry leaves for about a minute and por it over the dal curry, cover and cook for a few mins.
Ingredients: salt, red chilli, turmeric, black pepper, cumin, coriander, brown cardamom, green cardamom, garlic, ginger, dehydrated dill leaves.
