Shan Rogan Josh Curry [mix for kashmiri style stewed meat curry]
Easy to cook, hard to resist!
Recipe - Kashmiri style stewed curry - Ingredients required: beef/chicken/mutton 1kg, tomato x 1, onion half diced, yoghurt plain 500g, milk/fresh cream 200g, butter 175g, shan rogan pack one pack.
Method: in hot ghee fry meat till medium brown, stir. 2] add onions and tomatoes and fry 5mins, add yoghurt and cook till ghee seperates from gravy, stir constantly, 3] add shan rogan and fry for few mins, 4] add 1-2 glass water and cook on low heat until meat tender, 5] increase heat and cook till ghee sepearates stir constantly then add milk/cream and fry for few mins on medium heat.
Ingredients: red chilli, salt, paprika, sugar, coriander, turmeric, ginger, black cumin, fennel, black pepper, cumin, green cardamom, brown cardamom, cinnamon, mace, nutmeg, clove.
