Springroll Wrappers (Vietnamese Rice Paper Pancakes for Springrolls) 250g [16cm] by L/Dan
Authentic Round Springroll Wrappers (Rice Paper) used for making traditional spring rolls. These can be used for fresh spring rolls or for deep fried crispy spring rolls.
Just soak in water to soften and roll.
Ingredients: Rice, Tapioca, water, salt.
Fresh Spring Rolls Recipe:
Ingredients: 4-6 piece rice paper, 4-6 lettuce leaves, 40g cucumber [julienne], 40g carrot [julienne], 40g rice vermicelli [boiled/drained], 100g prawns [boiled/drained], 2 egg omelette shredded. fresh mint/basil to taste.
1. Immerse individual piece of rice paper in water and remove after only a few seconds. Leave it on a towel for 1 min to soften.
2. Place the rice paper on a plate and place lettuce in middle
3. Arrange rice vermicelli, shrimp, carrot, cucumber and shredded omelette on lettuce
4. Fold in both sides of rice paper, then fold up 1/3 of the rice paper over the filling. Continue rolling the rice paper to cover entire filling. Serve fresh spring rolls.
