Coconut flour is a great, versatile ingredient used in cooking and baking. A fantastic alternative to wheat and grain based flour, and for those following a low carb, gluten free or grain free diet.
High in protein and dietary fibre, try as a thickener in sauces, curries, stews and more.
When baking as a general rule, use 1/3 cup of coconut flour per 1 cup wheat or other grain based flour. Extra eggs, butter and other liquids may also be required to help improve the texture of the baking mix.
