Pure milk powder can be used in many ways as a pure full cream milk substitute. It is a popular ingredient in Indian cooking, especially for the preparation of Indian sweets and puddings like Barfi, Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai and Kulfi
Pure milk powder can be used to make Khoya/khoa a key ingredient for many indian desserts. This is a quick way of making khoa - simply add pure full fat milk powder to some skimmed milk and mix while heating - continue until it becomes thick. This method may not have the same exact characteristics as traditionally made khoa, but is popular and is alot less time consuming!
