Achiote Paste (Annatto)

Annatto seeds are also known as Achiote, they provide a tart, light, peppery flavour. This Achiote paste is made from ground annatto seeds and spices and comes as a block. Traditionally used as seasoning in Mexican and Central American dishes.

To use: Break off a piece of the Achiote paste and dilute it in some vinegar or oil. Now use as required by stirring into your sauce or marinade.

No colouring added.

Ingredients: water, corn flour, annatto seed, salt, garlic, spices, acidity regulator E260, preservative E211.
