Cumin
Cumin are small, oval, greenish brown seeds known as 'Jeera' in India. Cumin is used in many cuisines worldwide and is commonly found in seasonings and in the preparation of savoury foods.
One of the World's most used spices, especially in Indian and Mexican cuisine, cumin has a lovely warm earthy flavour and combines well with other spices.
Cumin is available ground and in whole seed form. There are also different varieties like Black Cumin and also Shahi Jeera (Persian Cumin) also known as caraway seeds.
