Dried Nasi Goreng [Vegetable Mix for Indonesian Fried Rice]


A dried vegetable mix popular in the preparation of the Indonesian favourite 'Nasi Goreng.'

Nasi Goreng is a traditional Indonesian fried rice dish and although a meal in itself, can accompany many others.


Nasi Goreng: This will produce a characteristically mild and spicy dish. For extra heat add sambal oelek.

Either rehydrate by soaking Nasi mix in some water before draining & cooking or add Nasi mix dry.
Use approx 50g Nasi Mix to 200g meat and 2 cups cooked rice. Adjust as desired.
  1. Cook rice according to method of preparation and leave aside.
  2. Heat oil, add the eggs and keep stirring until they are solidified.
  3. Roast the meat and add the Nasi mix, stir everything well.
  4. Add the cooked rice and mix everything while frying.

Storage: Keep cool and dark.
Ingredients: fried onions [onions, wheat flour, salt, palm oil], dried onions, dried leeks, salt, natural flavours, sugar, garlic, paprika, soy sauce [water, soybeans, wheat, salt], sunflower oil, white pepper.

May contain traces of peanuts.
