375g.Popular lentil based stew or chowder mix, originating from Sri Lanka.
Sambar can be served as a main dish, side dish or accompaniment and will be found on the menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Taken either with rice, vada, idli or dosa.
No preservatives.
Directions: Add 3-4 tbsp of this Sambar mix and 1 cup of water or milk to 1kg of vegetables of your choice. Mix well and cook until done.
Ingredients: mysore dhall [lentil], fennel, cumin, coriander, pepper, curry leaves, dry chilli, saffron, palm oil.
