‘Combination of fresh herbs and authentic spices, uncooked and naturally preserved in rapeseed oil, just the way we chefs blend in our kitchens’ - Mr Hudas.

Ingredients: Rapeseed Oil, Mustard Oil, Water, Garlic, Ginger,  Coriander, Chilli, Tamarind, Mint, Garam Masala, Paprika, Fenugreek, Salt, Other Spices, Acetic Acid, Modified Maize Starch, Citric Acid, Natural Colour (Paprika Extract), Lactic Acid.

Important Info from Mr Hudas:

The products are oil based and cold filled. We have quality control measures in place to make sure the jars are sealed but we cannot guarantee completely leak proof. It is not uncommon for a little oil to leak during transit (as we cannot guarantee it remains upright and handled carefully).

If a little oil has leaked it will not compromise the product, you can simply top it up with a little Vegetable Oil to maintain the moisture in the product.

RECIPE: Chicken Tikka – Serves 4

4 boneless chicken breast skinned (500g),
2 tbsp of Mr Huda’s Tikka Marinade Paste,
Drizzle of veg/olive oil,
2 tbsp natural yogurt,
Fresh coriander

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Chicken Tikka – Serves 4

Tikka are chunks of meat, fish or vegetables marinated in spices and yogurt, then skewered and cooked in a tandoor, under a grill or on a barbecue. Tikka dishes are often served as a starter or as part of a mixed grill.

For a quick easy meal use diced cubed chicken.

This particular dish is recommended to be left to marinate for at least half an hour in the fridge (covered) before cooking.

1st stage

  • 1.Prick the chicken breasts (both sides) in several places with the tines of a fork and make few diagonal slashes (on one side) in each breast.
  • 2. Put the chicken in a bowl.
  • 3. Add the required amount of Mr Huda’s Tikka Marinade Paste, oil, yogurt and some coriander.
  • 4. Mix well in to the chicken (use disposable glove when mixing, as to prevent staining your hand).
  • 5. Leave to marinate in the fridge.

2nd Stage:

  • 1.Cook as you prefer (grill or pan fry) until the chicken is cooked turning and basting with any excess marinade (try not to over cook).
  • 2.Once cooked garnish with fresh  salad, lemon wedges, coriander and serve immediately with mint raitha sauce
