Puffed Tofu Skin (Beancurd Strips)

Puffed Tofu Skin are a light, spongy tofu product used for its ability to absorb rich flavours, making it perfect for hot pots, soups and stir-fries.

Bean curd strips are thin sheets made from bean curd, where the skin forming on boiled soybean is removed and dried and puffed. Popular in Chinese and Oriental cooking.

For hot pot, just add directly to boiling water and cook for 2-3 mins for the best texture. Or soak in warm water to soften before stir-frying or adding to stews, salads and soups.
